Nourish Interactive celebrates National Farmers Week!

This is National Farmers Market Week and a reminder that I need to go to our local farmers' market to pick up some fresh produce!

 

So why go to a farmer's market?

  • Get the freshest produce, you buy fruits or vegetables that have been just picked from your local farmer!
  • You can introduce children to a new fruit or vegetable in a lively, family friendly environment.  Often the farmer is right there to answer questions!
  • Shopping at farmers markets supports your local farmers and keeps the money you spend closer to your neighborhood.
  • Farmers can teach your child about new ways to cook and eat the produce they are selling.
  • It's a great way to teach your child about the great taste of fresh produce.  In season produce have the best taste.  Your child can often sample a piece
