Family movie - the gift of time

You know when you see a movie that you just feel so good after watching it, you just want to watch it again!  Well that was how I felt when I watched "Chef".  

What a great family movie with a food theme.  Great music, great plot, great acting and great family message.  The importance of family time.

This is reminder that no matter what we are dealing with in life, we always need to make time for family.  Life is always throwing us curb balls, ups and downs, unexpected journeys that can easily take up entire focus - if we let it.

Meanwhile, your children are growing up, whether you make time for special bonding moments or not.  I know for myself, now that my kids are grown, I wonder where did the time go?  

So this Christmas, while you are busy working, shopping and getting ready for the holidays, don't forget to make some time each day for family time.  It doesn't have to be big or expensive, just the gift of your time and attention.
