Celebrate being active with kids during National Physical Fitness and Sports Month

This month we are celebrating being active.  It is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.be active

The weather is beautiful outside and this is a perfect month to get the whole family moving.  

Here are some ideas to help your family get started:

1. Take the Presidential Challenge by signing up and making a commitment to follow the six week program.  Kids and adults can earn the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award! Read more about this program.

 

2. Create your own family challenge:

Use our activity pledge sheets for kids and let them choose their activities
Then track their activities with our cute kid-friendly activity trackers.
 

3. Start a family walk competition.  Have each family member wear pedometers and then write down the number of steps walked at the end of each day.  See which family member walks the most!
