Spunky Spinach Noodles
If you’ve never tried homemade noodles before, this weekend would be a great time to try it, and it’s actually more simple than you would think! But, for Spinach noodles, we actually ground up some fresh spinach with our flour first, and then incorporated it into our regular recipe for fresh pasta: I used 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of fresh spinach in my mini- food processor.
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 more cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
Together: Pulse spinach, 1 cup flour and salt into a food processor until powder is formed.
Kids: Mix the rest of the ingredients together until a dough is formed.
Kids: Roll out onto counter with flour and a rolling pin as thin as possible.
Adults: Boil in broth or water for 12-15 minutes.
