Citrus Slaw

 
A side dish that will make your dinner taste even better
 

Ingredients

 
  • Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Brown Sugar 1 pinch/dash
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cabbage, savoy 1 each
  • Cilantro 1 cup
  • Jalapeños 2 each
  • Red Onion 1 each
  • Liquid From Stewed Kidney Beans 1 each
  • Oranges 1 each
 

Directions

 
Together:

Add all of the ingredients together in a large bowl and toss. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature so flavors meld.

Re-season with salt and freshly ground pepper as needed. Serve as a side dish, or as a bed for grilled meat or fish, or sausage
