“As an educator I found the site very useful for elementary school age children. The Nourish Interactive web site can be a useful tool for small group activities where students work in collaborative pairs or teams. This site would be a useful tool for teacher presentation and independent exploration. I think that the site lends itself to the learning style of special needs students that have support from a mentor or additional facilitator. The Meal Planner could be used by upper elementary or middle school children when planning nutrition projects. I would recommend a written follow up activity about why they made the food choice that they did. I plan on sharing this site with the media specialist at the schools in our district.”
